And there were scraps....

After such a rainy weekend it was good to see the sun peek back out. Even though it rained - I was able to make a compost bin. It is small - approx 3.5 x 3 .5 at the base. To begin with I have coffee grounds, orange peels, egg shells, onion and celery scrap, leaves and a little soil on top. The compost should not contain any meats or cooked/prepared foods. It's really hard to believe that all this scrap will make such a rich mixture for the gardens.
