Buddy And Some Blooms

Yesterday Buddy and I went for a walk. Half way through he began to pant with his tongue hanging out. Well by the time we were a little close to home his tongue was dragging the ground and he was leading the way home. He couldn't wait to get inside to his water. Upon entering he laid down for me to remove the leash and went to the bowl and drank - take a breath - drink more - take a breath - and drink some more before laying down right by his bowl. I enjoyed the walk. He'll get used to it and love it.

Begonias getting leggy. I'll cut them all soon and set out new starters from the cuttings.

The Johnsons Blue Geranium FINALLY.

This blue baby looks so lonely. Maybe more will bloom soon. I will be getting me more of these seeds.
Happy gardening fellow bloggers. Hope everyone has a fabulous day.

Maybe you should take a bottle of water for the pooch on your walks!

That's funny about Buddy. Our little dog, Pablo probably would pass out from the heat right now.

Your blooms are nice today. I've never tried to root begonia.

Buddy reminds me of my Max. My Minnie has lost lots of weight since her diet. She loves to eat. She would be the same way on walks. I just let her run around the yard for a bit now that I have one!!

We take our Little Buddy out only at night when the temperatures have dropped a little. This Florida summer heat can be so hard on our pets. (and us) Pretty blooms, I appreciate your visits!

It's funny how dogs need to get in shape just like people. Soon enough he won't want to stop walking.
Pretty flowers you've got blooming :)

Buddy sounds like our dog about walking in the heat. Thanks for sharing your flower pictures. I have a lot of dead heading to do in the garden when it cools off some. Hope you have a great day.

Poor Buddy. I agree, you might have to take water on walks.
My flowers are all leggy too. Just another sign of summer coming to an end.

Hi Becca, I saw you had visited us yesterday and I too checked out your blog. I thought I had commented but I am not seeing it:( As time goes on I think I forget more than I remember. Not a good thing. Love your little helper. It has been so hot for dogs and humans alike and you are even further south than here. My helper is BJ, he too literally collapses after being outside. Too old for walks now though. Actually I love it when they lay down and rest-less tripping over all the dogs (4)! Yikes! Thanks so much for stopping by and for liking the blog. I don't usually track the follower gadget but enjoy meeting new folks who stop by to say hello. I like your blog too as you seem such a nice person as evidenced by all your nice comments.
