100th Post Give-Away

I can't believe that I have made my 100th post. So I am having a give-away. The give-away will be Zinnia seeds and a cute flower pitcher and something for your little table that I found at Sage Consignment (a resale shop). Leave a comment and I will draw on Thur Sept 24.

I just received a call and my first cousin just passed away a half hour ago. Now I am the oldest of 36 grandkids of my maternal grandmother. This family has known so much sadness and death. Diane (who passed away) lost her daughter less than a year ago from suicide. Diane lost her brother many years ago. Diane's lost her father a year and half ago. Memories of me and Diane growing up flood my mind. I remember we would stay the night together and stay up late putting on makeup and teasing our hair and talking about boys. Keep this family in your prayers.

Oh Becca! I hate to hear this news of your cousin. Stay strong you are in my prayers. I feel guilty about entering your give-a-way when you are experiencing such sadness....sigh.

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. Some families do seem to get a lot more than their fair share of grief, not that it is ever fair.

Congratulations on your 100 post though, that is awesome!

I open your post to see that it's your 100th post! Congratulations! Then as I look and read on, I notice your very first picture. How appropriate to see a newly bloomed flower taken on 9/11...a day when there was such sadness in our hearts. And now your family is experiencing sadness with the loss of your cousin. But hopefully, she is dancing away with her family members that have gone on before her. Sorrow is for only those left behind. I pray that you and your family find strength in this time of grief. In the meantime, you have personally been an inspiration for me with your posts. Keep it up and I look forward to your 200th post!
Much love,
Berte

Becca congratulations on your 100th post giveaway. I felt such pride knowing I had written stuff 100 times and that anyone actually was interested enough to read them. Good feeling isn't it?
I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. As someone mentioned she's probably happy to see her daughter and other family members and those left behind are the sad ones because they were loved. I'm also going through this as my Father passed away on Wednesday. I'm trying to write a post to honor him and for friends and family to read but the words are coming hard so I haven't done it yet.
Happy memories of you and your cousin!

P.S. Please enter me in your giveaway. I love the pieces. So pretty. Congrats on 100 posts.
