My Walk and a Few Pretties

I have a beautiful place to walk practically next door to my house. This is the walking trail where the train tracks used to be. Buddy scratches on the front door upon arriving home wanting to go for his walk. He greets other walkers with baby dog excitement.

This is one thing I see when walking. The train depot museum.

This is an old church still being used today. It's hard to see but the stained glass is beautiful.

Old homes line the street and I love these old places.

Some pretties I found. The canna has 4 flowers on it. Awesome.

I could not get any closer to the butterfly. They love the zinnias.

I hope all of you bloggers out there have a wonderful day gardening or whatever you are doing.

It is a nice place for a walk. Remember getting caught in the rain? I think the boys will always remember that, LOL.

Hi Becca,
Thank you for visiting my blog..that was so very sweet of you. I know it is very hard for a lot of people to come to a blog that has sadness but my precious Amy would want no one to be sad. I joined your blog also...the profile picture I use is an art project Amy made me of a little lady...she reminded me so much of my personality and I wanted to see something Amy made me every day, when I turned my computer on.. so I chose her as my profile picture....it means a whole lot to me.
FIRST...I want you to know I will be praying for you and your grandson...I read a few of your posts and so I saw that you were having health issues and your grandson had swine flu and strept throat....prayers are being lifted up for you both as I type this.
I am an insulin dependent diabetic with other health problems....I only mention it because 2x's I have had a black out spell...my blood sugars were normal.....I had a medicine stress test...it was okay....I had another black out....I wore a heart monitor for a month with just a few issues but in both cases I was dehydrated slightly......they gave me an Iv bag of fluid.....both times I had no pulse or blood pressure. The first time it happened my sister was visiting from Arizona and we were all at my folks house and I was standing by my brother in law and just went out...I remember standing and I remember the ambulance ride.
FAITH, HOPE, and ATTITUDE are everything.
You have a beautiful place to walk and I love old houses...they make me smile and feel happy all over.
Angel hugs
Debbie

What a marvelous walking trail you have! The Silver Comet Trail that goes into north Alabama goes through the town where I went to high school.

I hope you're recovered from your fainting spell, drinking adequate water -- which BTW has other advantages, healthwise -- and continuing with your other 'get healthy' plans.

Butterflies are hard to capture; good job. Zinnias make a good landing pad for them, especially as the weather cools.

Many thanks to all of you who have been praying for me and my grandson. The grandson is fully recovered and did not pass to siblings (thank you Lord) and I am feeling much better. I am drinking more and eating more. I sometimes find it hard to eat when I usually don't have much of an appetite and food just doesn't taste right. This is a marked contrast to what I used to be like - eating everything in sight and my weight went up to 230#. That was some 25 years ago. Currently I am at 155#. Anyway I am trying to eat at least 2 times a day.

Very pretty place to walk! I bet Buddy does like it! Glad to hear your Grandson is better, and eat more ..maybe smaller meals four times a day? :)
