A Blog Friend Loses a Loved One

Some of you may have noticed on my sidebar a photo "Praying for Amy" - Amy passed away on Friday Oct 23. I have been following this blog for only a short while and I was checking daily for updates. I am so sad. I do not know this family other than the blog world. We become close to the people that we blog with. Amy seemed like such a vibrant and happy individual before becoming bed ridden with cancer. It is so sad to lose a young person to cancer. Cancer is no respector of persons. Continue to remember this family in prayer. You can visit Debbie's blog at http://debbie-jeremiah3017.blogspot.com/. Other family members blogs at http://countrywingsinphoenix.blogspot.com or http://purplegoatlady.blogspot.com or http://myarizonaangels.blogspot.com or http://penniwigs.blogspot.com All of these have left tributes to Amy.

I had only heard about Amy Dawn's illness just a few short weeks ago. For me it was too heart wrenching to follow (I am overly sensitive. I would never make a good nurse). I read last Saturday that Amy Dawn had her wings.

Will cancer ever go away? It has no shame and has no boundaries.

I hope that you are doing well. I have been a little MIA. I am just so blasted busy. As a matter of fact I am at work writing this on my lunch break. Shhhh! :)
Take care, Sue

Hi Becca, I'm sorry to hear about Amy--but at least, she is free from cancer now and out of pain. I know that I'll be going through the same thing one of these days since I have a great friend who has breast cancer and it has spread to her bones. I worry so about her---and will grieve and grieve when I lose her.

Hope you are doing well.
Hugs,
Betsy

I followed Amy's story and read the news of her passing. You are sweet to post this...is was very hard for me to read about her....I could just feel the family struggling and trying to be brave.

I just heard of Amy and Debbie through your blog post of her passing. I commented on Debbie's blog as comment #143! She responded on my blog and we have joined each other's blogs. She seems so sweet, and she and her family are certainly in my prayers.

SO sad, she was just a little younger than my girls. I can't fathom why some people must suffer so before they are called to heaven. Heart wrenching :(
