Buddy gets a new toy. Whenever I walk into the house with something for Buddy - I tell him "Hey Buddy - momma got you something in this bag". He gets so excited and starts to dance around. I give him his toy and he starts chewing and tossing into the air and chasing it wherever it lands. He is so fun to watch.
He's like "I gotta get this tag here - it is so chewy" "I love paper"
Still this bad boy is chewing ornaments. He took down 2 glass balls and a ceramic piece. The glass ball is all over the carpet. And an ornament like this one all glittery. Yeh his poop sparkled in the street light last night. This morning I took all ornaments and lights from the bottom branches and moved them up. I scolded him last night and again this morning before leaving for work. It's a wonder I haven't had to carry him to the vet with some emergency over something he swallowed.

A cute little screen or fence might work to keep Buddy from an emergency vet visit..either that or put the tree on a table.. what a little chewer..glittery poop.. been there done that . but with cats not dogs! Oh Buddy what are you thinking! :)
Just like a baby, they go straight for the tags...we are having the same crazy weather..one extreme to the other....
Buddy is a doll baby! I've had experience with the cats getting into the ornaments on the tree but not the dog. I've been attempting to groom my dachshund myself - she kinda looks like a bird pecked at her!!! Every once in a while I take off more fur than I intend to!!! Hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
Buddy is so sweet.
Still this bad boy is chewing ornaments - my philosophy about this is simple: trainer error. I see you've decided to move the ornaments up a little higher and buy Buddy a new chew toy. Now, that's the idea, Becca!
Buddy is a sweetie. I hope the chew toy works. You don't need an emergency trip to the vet. It never fails, it will happen at midnight!
Sparkly poop! How festive. My Little Buddy has a penchant for star fish. Most of the ones that are left are missing an appendage. He has lots of chew toys, but occasionally he goes for the decor.
My Max is about due to be groomed, too. He has chew toys, but doesn't mess with the tree. Last Christmas Prissy, my momma cat, tore up the tree...even knocked down the whole tree. This year we've got two of her kittens that speed through the house in a barely noticeable blur. But thank God, they have not messed with the tree other than to sleep under it on the furry skirt. Good luck with the pretty feces. :)

Silly Buddy, hopefully he'll outgrow chewing ornaments. I wonder why he'd eat more than one?
He sure is a cutie!
Buddy is a cutie, Becca.... He probably gets upset when you leave. They say that that is when dogs and cats do the most 'chewing'... I think they get MAD. How dare you leave him!!!! ha
He is precious though.. Good Luck!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Buddy is so cute!
LOL! Oh, these furry kids of ours. My Pomeranian use to act just like Buddy. All I had to say was "What do you want" and he would dance, beg and try to run around in circles at the same time. They are so much company. Everyone probably use to think I was talking to myself when I use to be talking to the dog all of the time.
Buddy is very cute...but you did good moving the ornaments up higher. Having dogs sometimes feels like having a toddler in the house. :)
Buddy is a cutie and ornery! HA! I remember when our kids were little one year we put the tree inside a playpen to keep them from getting into it and getting hurt. HA! Good idea to move the ornaments up higher. Happy Sunday to you!
You had me at the sparkly poop!
Ahhh! what a cutie! They do like to 'test the waters' tho, don't they. We had a cockapoo that got into things ... chew toys didn't seem to work. Hope yours enjoy his.
Merry Christmas, TTFN ~ Marydon
