After looking at so many beautiful wreaths other bloggers had made I had to try my hand at this. I used red, gold and pewter colored balls. The small pine cones were tree ornaments. I had so much fun putting this together and was proud of how it turned out. Total cost was around $15.
I don't know about you but when my decorations come down I don't fill those spots back up like it was before taking it all down. First the furniture has to be rearranged and cleaned. This is when I begin to pick up items for a new look. This time of year I am looking for something bright and cheery. I am also looking for items to enhance the outdoors too as I plan for the spring gardens.
Speaking of spring gardens - this is also the time of year when I am looking for new gardening ideas - expanding existing gardens and creating new ones. Perusing gardening magazines from last year and gardening books to inspire me to create a pleasant place to sit while enjoying the beauty of the flowers and enjoy a cup of coffee outdoors.
Spring is my favorite time of year.

Your wreath turned out very nice. I am dreaming of spring myself.
The wreath looks great, Becca! You are so good, thinking of spring, planning... I am still in a hibernation mode. Maybe, it's because we haven't had any snow and everything around is green. Nothing tells Winter. You have a Healthy and Happy New Year!
I was looking at that quilt, did you make it for sweet Buddy?
Great wreath, It is fun to make them. Oh boy do we all love to get seeds for spring.
Happy New Year
Hugs to you and Buddy

Very cute picture of Buddy, Becca, and your wreath is beautiful!
Looking at seed catalogs and dreaming about spring is a good way to spend the time on a winter's day, I think.
Buddy looks exhausted too. I LOVE a lazy day at home too. I enjoyed claiming my house back by taking down decorations too. Very relaxing!
You are really looking ahead, Becca.... That is GOOD!!!! We won't take Christmas down here til sometime next week. We've got company coming --so it's still Christmas to us (for a little while longer)... BUT--when we take it all down and put it safely away for another year, that is definitely the time to clean everything in the house really well....(Spring Cleaning --coming EARLY!!!! ha)
Hugs,
Betsy
Wow, those Green Thumbs are so crafty! The wreath looks so pretty.

Awwww Buddy looks so comfy!!! Your wreath turned out great...love it! I will be taking down my tree and decorations tomorrow. Hope I can get it all down in one day. I love Spring too...the freshness of it just delights me. Hope you are having a great evening.♥
Your wreath looks great! What a good idea to insert something fresh and new where the decorations were. We're taking down our tree tomorrow and I've been down about it. Now I'm going to try your strategy!!
I like your wreath! Great job.
I am dreaming of spring as well...the high was 25 here today.
Happy New Year!
Winter Garden Dreaming is one of my fav pass times. Love this wreath (is that knotty pine I see??), especially the ornaments in bunches, very smart. AND, of course, love your Buddy!! Lately, retiring early to watch some tv in the bedroom surrounded by our pooches is my favorite time of the day:) Happy New Year to you and yours:)
Buddy is so cute....great wreath...
I thought I was the only one who stayed in their jammies all day on Christmas. That is the gift I give myself. I do have to fix dinner but I sit and watch movies all day and night. My friends thinks I am weird but then, I am okay with that. LOL!!!
