A Blue Hyancinth - Watching It Bloom

This is my very first Hyancinth. I was in awe as I watched it change everyday. I captured it daily because it was growing so fast.

Hope you enjoy this presentation.

The following photo displays the perfect bloom. Click for a close up.

I have a question - What's up with the pink one with all this blue.

I think my lettuce and broccoli has found a perfect spot and will produce very well. They are already responding to their new location.

I can't wait to see the peach tree all flowered out. It is a sure sign of spring. The buds are just now turning pink and will open up soon.

Hope you all have a great gardening day. I hate to hear more snow and cold weather is on its way. Hopefully we'll ALL be done with the cold of winter and welcome spring.

Becca: Wonderful photos of a neat flower.
I had some trying to start when we had the January thaw. I sure hope they survived all the snow.

Hi Becca! I love your hyacinth photos! I feel as though I could actually smell them as the pictures progressed! I'm so jealous seeing your outdoor blooms! I'm afraid here in Illinois we have a ways to go yet - we're still getting snow
:(
By the way, I LOVE your blog background! Where do you find these? I'm new to blogging and have been using the 'generic' templates.

Hi Becca, Beautiful little plant, there was probably two different color bulbs..they smell so heavenly!!
I am glad you have someone that you can spend some time with..I hope he is good to you:)

What a beautiful photo progression. It's amazing how fragrant those are. I wonder if it was two smaller bulbs packaged together? It is intriquing with both colors, though, isn't it?

I love gardening! Looking forward to Spring and getting outside to do just that! With having our home in remodel mode the yards will be getting the same. Excited to see all that we are going to plant and be able to blog on it. Thank you for helping me with my decision on a camera. I think the Canon is the way I am leaning as well. I am excited to have a great camera to capture photos of beautiful flowers and everything!

Have a wonderful week and enjoy your beautiful hyancinth!

Hugs,
Victoria

HI, the Hyacinth is beautiful you did not mention the heavenly scent but I hope you have that also?
I love your shed 'finds' on the previous post, are they since the owner before you I cannot imagine you leaving them unloved in a shed! The chair will be a real find when you have been crafty with it, as with the plates!
We still have very cold weather and spring gardening is getting off to a very slow start.
have a great week end.

I'd very much like to grow a hyacinth as healthy and lovely as yours. I am featuring your beautiful blog on my side bar this week.
