Last Night it Was The Hospital

Ya'll I am not a hypochondriac. I became so sick yesterday morning. I spent the day hugging the toilet. I hurt so bad all I could do was rock back and forth and moan and cry. When I lay down all I could do was squirm. I became dehydrated since I couldn't hold any liquids on my stomach. My man friend came to check on me and wouldn't take no for an aswer about the hospital. I have never had such pain that it caused me to be delireous but I was confused and could not think reasonable at all. The ER sent me home with an RX for pain and phenagren suppositories. They say I had 2 injections while at the hospital but I don't remember much of anything. I don't recall them telling me what was wrong. Probably a stomach bug.

I am feeling a little better today - no pain except lots of soreness and tender feeling in my abdomen. I am at work today. I wish I could have stayed home but since our hours have been cut already it is going to kill my pocket book to lose another days work.

Hope you are feeling better. My younger brother had Intestinal Ileous which is a blockage in the intestines. He had a lot of the same symptoms as you had. He is doing better now, but he was really sick for several days.

I wish I was closer to you..I would be there making you feel better, whatever it took, a couple of beers, a good movie, a lame joke.....a kick in your butt! Seriously, I do pray that whatever evil is trying to overtake your body dries up and goes back to the pits of hell where it belongs!

Hi Becca, I'm so sorry to read of your miserable days! I hope you will feel better and be able to focus on things that make you happy! It's funny, but I'm not sure I've actually visited you before...it's hard to keep up with everyone, for me, at least. I know you're into gardening etc and wouldn't want me to visit on just a sick day, so I'll be back to visit on better days, as well. Think spring, butterflies, blooms and sunshine;-)

Hope that you are starting to feel somewhat better. It's hard to go to work, and be functional. Take good care of yourself, and drink lots of fluids.

Get well soon.
