Fertilizer Friday - Happy Friday Everybody

Good morning fellow bloggers! It's Friday the day that we flaunt our little beauties growing in the gardens. Tootsie is our host and you should just head on over and check what others have to share today. Plus Tootsie is always busy doing something in the yard and home. She is just so crafty.

The yellow Violas are coming along nicely. They sure add life to the garden as the seedlings are taking root.

The Bridal Wreath is awesome this time of year. Does it remind you of the wedding bouquet? That is what I think of when I see it.

The azaleas are still opening up. Around my home they should be full in all their glorious colors by next week.

The dahlias are doing very good.

Zinnias - lots of them.

This is one of the Iris's. Yesterday as I was putting seedlings in the ground I saw this strand of plant and thought it was grass. Well it wasn't grass and I pulled up the bulb. It isn't harmed but I felt kinda sorry for the plant. Oh well it's all a learning experience - trial and error and lots of the last one. If I didn't have error then I wouldn't be trying - right.

Look how good the seedling slid right out of the cut off 2 ltr bottle I have used as plant containers. The mix of potting mix with the seed start proved to be a good blend.

Seedlings - Johnny Jump Ups Viola went into the ground yesterday. I planted a lot of seedlings to make room for more in trays. All of them were kinda small and young but they looked really healthy and rooted so I thought what the heck. I believe they will be just fine. I also put a lot of seedlings around some of the daffodils to fill in as they start to die off.
Buddy helped me to get up each time I sat on the ground. (yeah right) Yes I have to sit on the ground to put the babies in the ground now - but that's OK - I like the dirt and I am on Buddies level and he likes it.
Have a great weekend. Hope you are experiencing some really nice spring weather. We will be with temps in the low 70's and lows in the upper 40's. Blue skies with not a single white fluffy cloud in the sky.

Becca, your plants look so healthy & 'ready' to get busy in your garden. I've been having a blast 'digging in the dirt' ... today is mulch day.

I love iris, Mother did, also ... she got me started. i am sure 'she' is glad to be back in the dirt .. chuckle! I've done this before ...

Have a lovely weekend.

It sure is looking great there. That weather sounds exactly perfect for gardening!
Buddy sounds like great company in the garden. Gracie likes to find a sunny spot and stretch out, she's not very helpful :)

Everything in your yard looks wonderful...even Buddy. I see he helps you like mine help me. NOT.

We have skipped spring and are in summer...high 80's with high humidity. Yikes. Bad hair days from now on....

Everything looks wonderful. I do covet your planting zone. Looks like you've been hard at work. Buddy sure is a cutie. My baby won't sit by me. She's too dainty and sunbathes on the deck.

Becca,

Your seedlings look great. My Dahlias are so tall and spindly because I have them inside. I can't wait to get my little starts outside!
