I've been sick again. Last week and again on Monday. This is getting too regular. I spent most of the day at the hospital yesterday. After running a slew of tests - I have stones in my gallbladder but that was not the root of my illness. Doctors determination was that I am having gastric problems. Had there been infection in my gallbladder they would have removed it yesterday. He has recommended that I go to my doctor at Victory Health (a not for profit facility created and run by doctors and volunteers who provide care to those who are employed but have no insurance). I hate going to the doctor these days. All it means to me is lost time at work that cannot be made up not to mention the cost to go the doctor. I feel like I am digging a hole and it is getting deeper. Sorry guys I hate to whine but that is where I'm at.
On another note I am about to give up on the idea of having a veggie garden. The area is tilled and cleaned. I just can't see me working it and keeping it up this year. I think it is getting to be too much. I am feeling old lately and whining a lot about my problems. I hate that I do that. ENOUGH of that.
Imagine my surprise and what a nice one it was yesterday when I came home from the hospital to step out to this little beauty. I am so happy that they are going to bloom since they were just planted in mid January. It was a good buy - $5 for 55 bulbs.
I was happy to see that this snapdragon was blooming. I love the colors - lavender and white. This one I planted last year and it has come back. yea!
The azaleas are about to burst open. The bushes are full and are beginning to open. The azaleas are on display in nearly everyone's yard here on the coast and along the streets.
The bridal wreath is stunning here. They are blooming everywhere.
Hope you all have a great day and good gardening.

So pretty, thanks so much for sharing.
Sorry you are having so many health problems. I do hope things get better soon. Maybe you could do a small vegetable garden? Just a couple of tomato plants, bell peppers, or something. My first veggie garden was 4 tomato plants my brother planted (we were living together). He then moved out with his wife to on-post housing at Fort Hood, Texas. Hope your having a good day!

I am so sorry you are having health problems--will keep you in my prayers. I tried a vegetable garden next to my house last summer--it didn't work out. The heat of summer kept me from tending it like I needed to. This year I'm going a couple of tomato and pepper plants in containers only. The snap is gorgeous--never see one with those color combinations!
Hello my friend, So sorry to hear that you are feeling ill and hope it gets sorted soon.
My mate has stones to and in the same place, he also suffers from acid, he sees the head consultant after we come back from our holls.
He also has a fatty liver too, poor chap.
You have some beautiful daffodils blooming in your garden.
Thanks for your visits and kind comments - as to Jessie thanks for the asking, she is steadily getting her strength back and tomorrow goes to the doc to have her stitches out and check on her medications.
Oh girl I am so sorry to hear you are having more health issues. A person doesn't feel like digging into major projects when you just do not feel well either. All these blogger buddies will just have to pray harder for you.;-)
I know how it is to fret about Doctor bills. I have no insurance either but there are state programs that go on what you make to aid people and it all helps.
Now on a brighter topic your daffodils did great didn't they? So pretty. Oh, I love azalea blooms and your Bridal Wreath is just beautiful. Snap dragons blooming already. They are pretty Becca and will bloom on and on.
Take care now you hear.
Becca ~ I sure hope you are feeling better soon. Getting older isn't much of a picnic that's for sure.
What lovely blooms you have there. Those azaleas are stunning, and I love the Bridal Wreath. The daffies and snapdragons look happy.

Becca, I am sorry to hear you are feeling bad. I hope the Dr's find the root of your issues and get you better soon.
As far as your veggies, why not put in a few of your favorites? It will bring you some joy and not so much work.
Love your blooms!
Oh dear, I'm sorry you're having problems. As we get older it seems like every day there's something not quite right, doesn't it! I hope it eases off a little. Perhaps a change of diet would help? It may be a certain something you're eating is causing the problem.
Blessings, Star
I sure hope you get to feeling better soon. You have a good start with your flowers.

Don't get down about the doctors. You really need to figure out what is goibng on. You have been dealing with this for a while. You need to get it cleared up so you will feel better, and feel like getting outside because you know that makes you HAPPY!
Becca, I wish you had answers to your medical issues & am sorry that they are still plaguing you. We are hear to listen & support ...

I hope you can just take drugs to get rid of the stones. I pray that it will not be a painful process for you.
Thanks for all your 'pretties'... they are really pretty! Love the azaleas :-) How wonderful to be able to see them everywhere.
Take care and take regular meals yeah!
I am truly sorry you have felt so bad. I pray that you get to feeling better soon. Your flowers are really stunning. We no longer can tend to a veg. garden either. We tried just a few plants last year but as it got hotter, we just could not hold out to keep it up. We enjoy scouting the farmer's market and local farms for fresh veggies and talking with the folks who are still able to garden. Maybe you and a friend could go out each Sat. to shop for vegetables. It would give you something to look forward to and lots of good healthy foods too.
So sorry you can't find all the medical answers you need. Hoping they find some relief for you soon. I'm glad you have the distraction of your lovely blooms!
I hope you get the medical issues all sorted out soon..so you feel better.
A veggie garden will help you in the long run..fresh lettuce..good stuff for you!
Your blooms are beautiful! :)
Becca: Get well real soon my friend. Your flowers are very special.
Sorry to hear you have been sick! I had to have my gallbladder removed, the surgery was a little scary but what a good decision. Sure ended a lot of pain for me! I hope they can figure out exactly what all is going on with you so you can feel much better soon! Beautiful flowers! I love spring!
