Hope the nicotine gum works, but hope you don't get any hurricanes. Diane

Becca remember that it's hard to do a lot of things 100%, so be careful. Better to do one with success and then begin another than to get frustrated and give up. Hurricane stuff, looks like our house. Good luck girl!

No, no, hurricanes allowed! I think you need a sign that says it. LOL!
Good luck with the quit smoking endeavor. It is so hard so take it one day at a time. Hardest thing I ever had to do anyway, but it has been a lot of years now since I quit. As for the walking, some day's I just have to force myself to get started then after I am going it is alright. LOL!
Of course I never lose weight but I am a healthier old fat lady LOL!

looks like your ready for battle...remember you have all us bloggers pulling for you!!!

You bet we're all pulling for you. Darla's right though cause once I tried to diet and quit smoking at the same time and I started seeing things. I talked to the Dr. and he said I couldn't do it all at once.
You must only have a teeny bit of weight to lose judging by the pics you show by your name. Your face doesn't show weight gain at all. I dieted before my surgery about 3 years ago and lost 45 pounds just by watching fat calories. My surgeon couldn't believe I did it with not one bit of exercise because of my back I couldn't do any. It is sooooooooo easy and you can eat really well and never be hungry with all of the fat free foods out now. I ate Lean Cuisines and those kinds of TV dinners in the evening. So why aren't I doing it again now that I had surgery and gained weight back if it's so danged easy? Well who knows - guess I'd best get back at it and practice what I preach!
Anyway good luck and hopefully no hurricanes.

That is good news and take it one day at a time. Same with the hurricanes.

Interesting purchases, and the batteries are always good to have on hand. We keep ours in the refrigerator which is supposed to keep them useful longer. We put them in the veggie bin.

Good luck with your supplies. I'm glad we didn't need the batteries!

Hi Becca, Good Luck with your new endeavors... Quitting smoking is like losing weight... It is HARD I'm sure... I've never smoked--but I have had a weight issue all of my adult life... You can DO it... It just takes a good attitude and determination..

Hope you don't EVER get a hurricane... BUT--it's good to be prepared..

Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Becca, best of luck with giving up the smokes.I must admit I am a serial 'giver upper'!I have been off them for up to 2 years and then light up again. I usually give them up for a few months every year. I hope the hurricanes pass you by but I wonder is the hurricane season the best time to go off the cigarrettes?!

Oh my, you have a busy week. Quitting smoking AND hurricanes. Sounds like a lot of stress :)

Good luck, Becca! One thing first. Quit smoking!! Just do it. Cold turkey is the way. I did it that way. You'll have to diet later, cause your appetite will be better after putting down the smokes.
