Cyber Monday

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I had a good one with my family. Now I'm ready to spend some money on Christmas. I'm looking forward to the holiday.

I decorated my tree and house. The header is a wreath I made last year and thankfully it stored well.

I was wondering. I watch the news regular and especially on weekends I tune to Fox News. I have been hearing how well the Black Friday was economically and that more people are spending and spending more than last year. I was wondering about you. Will you be spending more. I do plan to spend a tad bit more this year. I feel like I am in better shape financially than I was 2 years ago.

How bout that Somali guy trying to blow up a holiday celebration in Portland. That was a close call. I hate the thought of going through the airport security systems now but man why are there so many home-grown terrorist. Why live here all your life and then want to blow up your neighbors. I don't get it - but then who gets terrorism.

Well I'm ready to get to work for a little and I'll be around to visit you today.

Have a wonderful Cyber Monday and good luck to everybody in their shopping. I am seeing some really good deals out there today.

Hi Becca,
I am on my break at work, and reading down my blogroll. I did some catching up here, reading about your mom's fall, and about the two of you both having surgery. I hope you are both continuing to heal.

I'm sorry you're still having problems. That reminds me I want to ask my next door neighbor lady if she is still having her diahrea. She was having ongoing problems with that, too. I don't remember if she had a diagnosis of it or not.

Well, I need to get back to work.

God bless and heal you and your mother!

Hi Becca. So glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I decorated for Christmas yesterday and took down the Fall stuff.I thought I had better get at it while the weather was sunny. I think I will be spending about the same this year. I was glad to hear the reports that Black Friday went very well also. I hope this is a good sign for the economy.
I know what you mean. What goes through the minds of these people?? I am just glad they caught him. Looks like they are doing their jobs pretty well with catching these idiots.
Have a wonderful week Becca and I hope your Mom is still doing well with her recovery.

We had a good thanksgiving got some trees trimed up.
The world is in sad shape now so we must keep our eyes on the Lord. And do the best we can every day.

My Christmas shopping is easy this year! Other than a few calendars that I have bought everyone is getting a selection of home made jams and pickles :-) Diane

Hi Becca, I sure like that new header! I think I am spending about the same amount this year, everyone is a little held back after the last few years.

Your decorations in your header picture are really pretty, Becca. I like the cute Santa sitting on the shelf with his legs hanging down. :-)

I expect I'll spend about the same as last year on presents, I think.

Hi Becca, Yes---the news is full of horrible things... Our country is in such a mess.... Hope things get better in 2011....

We will probably spend about the same as last year. WE don't make a huge deal when it comes to gifts at Christmas. We NEVER go into debt --and it's always a good feeling... (In my earlier life, when my kids were little, we'd spend WAY too much money at Christmas. It was terrible. NO MORE though!!)

Hope you have a good day tomorrow.
Hugs,
Betsy

I hate shopping..and Christmas the commercial holiday is not my favorite. The birth of Jesus yes..the rest of it is not my cup of tea.
I have not made a shopping list yet..my guess is that we will spend about as much as we have in the past..we never go into debt for Christmas gifts..what kind of a gift would that be:(

Let me say congratulations on winning the necklace and earrings that Diane created.
The wreath that you made and is shown in the header is lovely. You have a wonderful Christmas grouping.

Sometimes I wonder if all the security measures we have are exactly what the terrorists want. To make us paranoid. Of course, I am not the first person to say this.
