Updates and Some Pretties

Where do I start today.
I had another episode of sickness Sunday night and Monday - all day. It was the same as it has been for the past more than a year now. Excuse me - vomiting and diahrea and horrible pain. I thought having my gall bladder removed almost 2 weeks ago would make me feel better. This is the second episode since my surgery. This morning I had some blood work done. I'll be seeing the doctor on Thur.

Mom is beginning to recover. Last week was a bad week. After surgery and for 5 days she was on another planet. She knew who we were but she wasn't with us. Her sugar kept dropping in the night and she come near dying on Sunday morning. Sugar dropped to 20. It took them 3 hours to get her stable. It's a wonder she didn't go into a coma. After this happened I went to the hospital and put down my foot and made some changes to her schedule with the nurses and doctors. I got things changed. She called me this morning to check on me and I can't tell you what it meant to hear my moms voice calling me. I cried and said thank you Jesus she is going to be OK now. Now we can begin to focus on the hip healing. The hip will be a breeze compared to what it's been like. She is doing well now.

You all know the hospitals have the best gift shops. I love to visit a gift shop. Look what I found. I love Santa Claus. These were adorable.

Thought I'd share some pretties with you today. The gardens still have some blooms for a little while longer. I haven't raked yet so the leaves are everywhere and running over the garden beds.

Milkweed still hanging around. I cut it all down but 3 stems and they are taller than me.

Hope you all have a blessed day. I am trying to get around to visit you all this week. I have missed blog world and my friends.

I am so glad to hear that your mother is doing better. With her sugar so low no wonder her mind was hazy. Sorry to hear you are still feeling bad.My daughter had her Gallbladder out a few years ago and never got sick like that but as soon as she eats she is running to the bathroom. Hope everything turns out alright Thursday.
Your flowers are still blooming right along.
Take care.

My goodness, I go out of town & everyone gets sick! I hope you find the root of this problem quickly, Becca. Have you been checked for a hiatel hernia? And, good news that your Mother is recuping now.

Please take good care ... thoughts are with you, my friend.

Have a beautiful & blessed Thanksgiving holiday.

I'm glad to hear you Mom is getting better! I hope the hip is healing and not too painful. I sure hope they can figure out what's going on with you. That sounds miserable. Hoping your lab results give you some answers.
Your garden is so full of flowers and color still, just beautiful!

Geez, Becca, I thought you were on your way to a complete recovery. Hope they find out what's going on! Your mom will be OK with each passing day. It just takes time. Your flowers are beautiful. I'm down to calendulas! That's what I get for living in the north! Love those season changes!

Aw, Becca, I'm so sorry to hear you are still having sick spells. I thought your surgery would take care of things for you too. I hope the Dr. can figure out a way to help you. Good news that your mom is doing some better now. You've had a rough time of it lately. I hope things will start looking up for you soon. Hugs to you.

Hi Becca, Perhaps you just had a touch of the flu. I hope you are feeling better and you should be. I believe diarrhea from time to time is normal after gallbladder surgery..along with stomach cramps. You will just have to watch what you eat..and be near a bathroom until your body sorts it all out.
I am also glad to hear that your Mom is on the mend..goodness sakes did she have deaf and dumb Nurses or what:(

Sorry you are still ill. Hopefully they can figure it out. Maybe you are allergic to something you are eating.

Sorry you're feeling sick. It's hard enough worrying about your mom and to be sick yourself on top of it. I will keep your mom's recovery and your test results in prayer. My dad has bouts of low blood sugar especially when he's in the hospital and there is nothing scarier than him being there but not really being there. Take care. Patty
