First Daffodil Bloom

Pascagoula, MS on Friday. Beautiful day.

I spent a little time outdoors this weekend. It was so pretty and warm. I am wishing all of you bloggers up north some warmer temps.

Got some new dahlias in the ground this weekend.

New bloom on the blue hyacinth. Looks like I'll get another bloom from this too. I'm loving that my one hyancinth last year made 4 new babies.

This weekend I purchase a couple more hyancinth. This is a pink and the container already had three stalks coming up.

And a couple more blue.

Yea! I was thrilled when I walked out and found this blooming. I'm looking forward to a lot more of these.

Hope you all have a great day.

Today I'm thankful that I had a pretty daffodil to see this morning.

My daffodils have been blooming for almost 2 weeks now. I love them. Actually I love all bulb flowers. I just wish they would last longer than they do. My iris is blooming too. I'm waiting for my tulips, calla lilies and my glads to come up now.

I am so jealous, we are still under several feet of snow, and just got 7 new inches yesterday. Spring will have to wait, but I can start some seeds!!!

The hyacinths are lovely; I bought one for a friend the other day that was gold. I have never seen them before, wish now I had bought 2, one for myself! Our daffodils are in bud now, I am just waiting for them to pop open :-) Diane

Hey, are those real flowers? That isn't fair :) We need a few more weeks and for the snow to melt.
