Bloomin Tuesday

Linking up today with Jean over at Ms Green Thumb Jean for Bloomin Tuesday. Ya'll head over and check the others who have a bloom to share today. http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com/2011/04/its-bloomin-tuesday_25.html

I've waited long enough on the dahlias to come up in the vacant spot you see toward the back here. I'm gonna have to fill it in with a new plant(s). Awe the drudgery of shopping for plants. NOT. I love to buy new plants.

I'll be so glad when all that daffodil foliage has died down. I hate that about daffodils.

Happy Nemesia needs pruning again.

I am happy to see this container beginning to fill in nicely. That's butterfly weed coming up next to the container. Happy to see the purple white eye verbena.

This was my big ole project I had planned for myself this past weekend. I painted my front porch and door. It was a job getting it cleaned and ready for paint. I worked hard and am happy with it. It certainly isn't perfect but I did the best I could.

Hope you all have a great day.

(Anybody besides me gonna be tuning in to the Royal Wedding. If you watch any television then you will since it seems that every network will be carrying live coverage beginning at 3 and 4am on Friday. I'll be watching and looking forward to the dress.)

It looks so good!!!! I think back to when you first started working in your yard...and the transformation is really amazing. I know how much you love to get out there and play in the dirt. It just looks great.

I am excited about the Royal Wedding. I have been invited to a Royal Tea Party on Friday. I am really excited about it. i get to wear a big hat!!! There is a group in Mobile from England and they get together once a month. This Friday is a special occasion for them and they are having a tea and have invited me to take pictures :-). Ofcourse I will be blogging about it!

That nemesia is certainly doing well. Your porch looks bright and inviting. Very pretty. I'll probably watch bits and pieces of the wedding.

Hi Becca. I like the new paint job you have done to the porch. It looks wonderful. Your beds are feeling in and looking pretty. I like verbena so much in containers. I have some started from seed but I have an awful time getting them started until I read they need the dark to get sprouted. Duh!I will have to remember that. LOL!Have a wonderful week.

Becky, It looks wonderful!! That just has to be a dahlia plant to the left of the tomato cage...isn't it? I need to see a larger photo of it. Your porch looks great! You did a great job on it. I need to paint my porch and front door too...I'll be phoning in a bit..

Love your flowers... I'm jealous. We just have green sprouts coming up so far. Didn't even join in with FF this past week. The wedding? We're going camping early Friday so we'll probably just catch all the reruns in the following week. I'm sure there will be many :)

Becca your garden is looking lovely and your porch looks very good to me. Not sure if we will have time to watch the wedding. We have deliveries of gravel, sand and paving stones arriving and I have a horrible feeling they are going to end up in our gateway, so we will have to move them ASAP!!! I will try to make a break though to see her dress. Enjoy. Diane

I love Nemesia -it's so pretty, and I'm totally with you about the foliage from the daffodils. It drives me mad. I usually tie it into neat little bunches!! Ha Ha!! YES! I shall be sitting in my seat from 8.30 a.m. on Friday to watch the Royal Wedding, and I shan't move all day!!

Becca, your flowers are thriving and good for you for painting yourself. I paint all the time too. I have been planting and working amidst one million chiggers and am covered in bites! ♥O

Your flowerbeds are all doing so well, Becca! So pretty! :-) Great job on the porch too. I won't be getting up at 3 or 4 am to watch the wedding, but I'm sure I'll catch some coverage of it sometime.

Your porch looks great. Is it concrete or wood? I've got two very stained concrete porches, and would like to paint them. Your flower beds are doing great.

I won't be getting up early since I have to work on Friday and I have a hard time getting up at 7:30!
