A Couple of Blooms

I found a few things in the garden that wasn't burn up from the extreme heat and dry conditions. The gardens really are needing attention but this ole girl isn't feeling like giving them any lately. I'm just gonna leave ya with some pics of my flowers.

Sometimes its best to not say much... but to keep my thoughts close... going thru some stress right now.

I updated my other blog today.

Very pretty! I especially love the pink one with the halo of tiny golden flowers in its center. Some type of Zennia maybe? I hope that you will feel more like yourself tomorrow!

Beautiful flowers. I know what you mean by not wanting to give your garden some attention right now. Sometimes it's just to much with everything else that is going on in our lives. Whatever your stress is right now, I'm thinking of you. Take care Becca,

Susan

Hello Becca,
it looks like your flowers take the heat pretty good. They look just gorgeous.
I look forward the temperatures to go down a few degrees at least again. The for this time of the year unusual heat (even for our area in SE Texas) wears me down and I have no desire to work around in my garden at all. It's already hot and humid in the morning when I get up and it's still hot and humid when it's already too dark to do something in the garden still.
Oh well, there is no relief in sight yet. The forecast for the weekend: Hotter than the past few days and no rain.
Happy sweating and watering - instead of gardening

So glad to ave found your blog. your flowers are gorgeous- I just wish you would label them so I could get some ideas on plants that will actually hold up to the heat- garden catalogs are lacking in enough info and I've at times been frustrated. I live in Georgia and we also get very hot in the summer- Thanks for sharing

Becca, your flowers are gorgeous. I peeked backwards to your other pictures, what pretties you have.

Those blueberries look yummy, Harold would love them. And, those recipes, they are going to get tried ... he can't get enough blue berries.

Are you okay?

Have a great week, my friend

I love those zinnias, and seeing that lovely dahlia made me glad I planted some.

Thanks for your nice compliment on my front yard. It's a work in progress.
