This N That (and a prayer request)

We managed to get a lot more of the property cleared off around the edges of the property. I can actually see the property line now. This would be a good place for a bench a flowering tree and a shade garden. It will not happen anytime soon but is a work in progress. I have lots of areas to work on.

This is the same area and this is on the south side of the yard.

This is the west side of the shed and is also a work in progress.

I can't believe that it is Feb 1 and my parsley never died. We have had virtually no winter this year.

The daffodils are pretty even if they seem to be smaller plants this year. The blooms appear to be full size but the plants themselves are kinda small.

Too bad these are blurry.

And the skies were so pretty to greet me yesterday morning.

I knew the news wasn't good when I got a call last Friday from my mother calling from the doctors office telling me that she needs to tell us something and tell us together. She has lung cancer. The doctor told them that it is early and that he thinks he can operate and cut it out. Tomorrow she has an appt for a PET scan and then to the doctors office. My sister and I will be coming along on this visit to talk to the doctor with them. I am trying to not be too worried but it is looming over my head constantly. Keep my mom in your prayers please.

Prayers for Mother lifting, Becca. May God hold her in His loving healing hands.

Love your flowers, already blooming. Been a winter, hasn't it? In some areas up here they are in full regalia, also.

Missed you ...
Have a beautiful eve ~

Oh! Becca that is bad so sorry about your mom.
The Bennie is doing good after his surgery but he has more things going on that we have to get a diagnose on.
Your place will look beautiful when you get it all done.

HI Becca, So sorry to hear about your Mom. I will definitely keep her --and you all--in my prayers.. I hope they have caught it early.

We haven't had much winter up here either... Our Daffs are trying to bud ---but haven't opened yet. Yours are so pretty...

Looks like you have alot of yard now to work with. That is GOOD.

Hugs,

Prayers for your Mom here, Becca. I'm sorry to hear she got bad news.

Your daffodils are very pretty. We had a little snow and cold this year, but it has been a very mild winter here too, compared to some I've seen.

I pray for the best for your mom.

My brother in law was diagnosed with lung cancer last September. They operated. No chemo or anything. They can go in with such small incisions now. He healed well and is doing great. I hope the same for your mom.

(hug)

Becca, I will pray for your Mom!...
I am glad you still have your parsley. We have mild winters here, and it usually survives. I just need to plant more of it. We all love it. I read that parsley is called one of the best plants on Earth. There are many valuable vitamins, minerals, etc. in it. You take care of yourself!
Hugs,
Tatyana

Oh Becca, I'm so sorry to hear the news about your Mother! Of course I will remember her in my prayers! I will remember you also! Let us all know what happens. They thought I had it last summer, remember? When I had my PET Scan it turned out I didn't. Hopefully it will go the same for your Mom!

Hi Becca, So sorry to hear your Moms medical issues. Hopefully they have caught it early and if they can get it all she won't need Chemo or Radiation. They are having some good results with early detection...it isn't a death sentence like it used to be. I am thinking good thoughts and will remember your Mom in prayer:)

Becca so sorry to hear the new of your mum but catching these things early are generally a good sign. Both you and your Mum are in my thoughts.
Your garden is amazing. I also thought we had got away with a mild winter, but we have now suddenly got Arctic conditions!!! February looks like being a chilly month:( Diane
