Friday Blooms

Just a few blooms here today....

Love the hydrangea's this time of year. They take a while to get a full bloom but they are gorgeous when they begin to open up.

I don't remember the name of this one.

This is the endless summer hydrangea.

Dianthus pretty happy this time of year. They are not fussy at all. I just clip off old blooms when I get around to it. Can you see the weeds. The gardens are needing my attention right now.

Salvia.

Don't remember the names of the Butterfly Bush.

I've been pretty busy lately. All I really want to do is to keep Momma's gardens going. It pleases her to sit out and look at the pretty blooms and that is what is important. She is doing OK. She has healed nicely from the surgery but she is not the same. I see changes. It's hard. I hang up the phone and cry or cry myself to sleep at night. I will not take her for granted. Today she wants to get out of the house and go shopping. I was so surprised when she asked me take her shopping and of course I changed my plans to accomodate her wishes.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Wow, the flowers are so gorgeous, many that we can't grow here because we're just too hot. It's very pleasant to look at yours. Continuing well-wishes for your Mom. Have a lovely weekend.

Pretty blooms, although I can't believe you have Hydrangea blooming already. I probably shouldn't say that as my Quickfires are loaded with buds. Will be interesting to see when they bloom this year also. Enjoy your special time with your mom.

Oh your hydrangeas are lovely! Our granny has also been ill, and I was surprised when she wanted to go out. Something that comes from within like that is indicative I think - nice news.

Hi Becca, Glad your Mom is doing better --but, as you know, things do change (as much as we don't want them to). Just love her and do what you can for her now.. Bless her heart.

Love your flowers. I especially love Hydrangeas --and really want to grow some of them--or TRY to!!!

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

You are so smart to value this time with your mother, and to accommodate her wishes. Your garden will wait. I hope she continues to heal.

Becca, how sweet that you rearranged your day for Mother. Glad to hear she is doing better, tho change comes with age. You are such a gem.

Your gardens are beautiful. I am sure she is enjoying them as well. Don't you just love digging in the dirt?

Have a great day ~

Your garden is looking beautiful.

I well know the feeling of ageing parents, love and appreciate your mother while you can, it is hard when they have gone. I hope you can look forward to many more years with your mother. Diane
