It's Been Awhile...

I'm trying to see if I can get the hang of this again. I have missed you guys and hope to get my blogging back into a groove. I had been blogging from work in the past and now work is way too busy for me to do any blogging from there especially a blog post. I don't know how much time you spend making a blog post but I can spend upwards of 2 hours loading and writing and some of that is due to interruptions. And I'm just not that fond of my home laptop. Anyway my gardens need to be documented as well. I haven't been working alone as my boyfriend has gotten the fever now is enjoying it immensely.

I have a lot going on in the yard these days. Lots of things have come up and spring is just around the corner. Time to get hopping around here.

A few of the lovelies blooming right now:

I have a few Hyacinths coming up and love them in the garden. They add so much color this time of year.

A new hybrid tea named Golden Glow. I'm gonna love them in vases this summer.

We put together this container last year. Some left over tubing placed around an old post that once held a satellite dish.

I don usually do petunia's but decided to give them a try this year. So far so good in the hanging baskets.

Pansies are doing well and add so much color during the still somewhat drury grey days of pre-spring. We've been enjoying many signs of spring around here though. There are still many pretty days as well and temps are warming.

I believe this is called Kalanchoe. I love the waxy looking leaves.

I messed up the order of photos but this is a new-beginning of my next bed. I needed a place to plant new day lillies. It is pretty crowded right now with them but they will get spread out as the bed grows.

This was the nicest surprise when I bought the pitiful looking thing at Walmart for a couple of dollars. It was in a little pot. I was surprised to see these blooms open up just a couple of days after planting. It isn't but about 4" and the blooms were as big as the plant. It didn't have a name.

I love pink and yellow together.

I don't know the name of this beauty that we spotted at Lowe's and snatched it as we noticed a few people coming to browse the rose's. There was only this one and it didn't have a name tag. I call it fire. The photo doesn't do it justice by any means. It is yellowish/orangy/reddish and does look like fire.

Oh the beautiful and faithful daffodils. You can see a couple of them behind this one. I love the the soft pale center with it's ruffled edges.

This is how the daffodil looks before it changes to the creamy color as the one above.

The plum trees are doing good and looking pretty in it's white blooms. It has now lost the blooms and is has the prettiest healhy leaves.

I tossed around whether I want to keep blogging and I do. I just may not do it every week but I'll see. I don't want to give it up. I do love checking out your stuff and will get back to visiting as well. I really have missed you.

I will share more next time. For some reason I am unable to load anymore photos.

It's cloudy here today and has been raining since Friday morning with some heavy pockets of rain. Flood warning are in effect for some areas near  streams and rivers. I don't have that problem where I live and my place drains really well.

Hope you have a nice day. I will be by to visit and looking forward to seeing what you've been up to.

It's good to see you back Becca and all the beauties you have growing there. I hope you don't get too much rain. We have a little expected and we do need it so I won't complain. I just hope it isn't raining when it's time for me to leave from work to home. It's about a 30 minute drive.

Have a good weekend enjoying all of your lovely bloomers.

Your garden is looking lovely already . The flower with no name is an Iris. Lovely that your boyfriend also wants to be involved . I can't wait to get out in my garden again, but it's much too cold at the moment !

Hi Becca, Glad I can keep up with your on FB these days. I miss your beautiful blog posts. Your flowers are so much father along than ours. I took a picture of a scraggly Hyacinth (just like yours) today---but it is pitaful looking compared to yours. The cold weather just plays havoc with them. My Pansies are so-so---but also begging for warm weather. I did get a good picture of a crocus --so I'll put that on FB soon...

Yours are ALL gorgeous...

Hugs,
Betsy

I am so happy to see you back and know that you are well. Your garden is way ahead of ours and there are some great photos here. The only colour I have to date are some snow drops, a few crocus and good old faithful Bergenia Cordifolia.

I agree blogging takes up masses of time and I have cut back to about every 10 days on my Charente, and Before Charente blogs. I do though have a daily photo diary which I may or may not keep up, but at the moment it has survived about 3 months!! Take care and glad to know all is well Diane

You're kind of like how I've been with blogging. I just don't have the time either, and I sure don't blog as good as I used to either.
It's still nice to see what's going on there even if it's just once and awhile.
Hope your camera is working again soon! Gracie says hi to Buddy :)
