Happy Spring - Fertilizer Friday

We've been feeling like spring off and on for a few weeks maybe a month. We've had so much pollen everywhere since February. Cars are covered and allergie sufferers are feeling the hit. Fortunately for this garden it isn't so bad that it sends me to the doctor.

I'm sorry for so many of you that you still have snow and cold temps. Wish I could send you some of our weather. Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow so I would like to get my seeds sown today that I didn't get done last weekend. I am taking two days vacation so I am glad to have the time to piddle around in the gardens and run some errands.

I have a new puppy and we are off to the vet when I'm done here. He was dropped at our office mailbox I assume since he huddled around it for most of the day a few weeks ago. I coaxed him inside with a cookie and he was so hungry and a little thin. He quickly became a part of the family. He worries Buddy to death poor thing. Maybe part lab.

Buddy needed a friend and this is what I wanted to happen. PLAY!

Peach tree is beautiful this year. The blooms are fading into little peaches. It is loaded. I hope we have some eatable peaches this year. In five years I've only had year with eatable peachs.

Sorry it's blurry. There are lots of tiny plums on the Bruce Plum tree.

So far not a lot of blooms on the blueberries.

We call this bridal wreath but I believe the proper name is spirea. Just started blooming.

I love pink and yellow together. I had the leash in my hands taking these pics and he pulls - he hates when I take pics.

Begonias with salvia in the background.

Cyclamen with vinca and kalanchoe trimmed low in the background. I believe it recovering from the frost in early February with some new leaves at the base.

Darn Buddy. Pansies and gerber daisies.

I hope you have a good day and that snow melts soon and you have wall to wall sunshine.

Off to the vet I go.

hooking up with Tootsie for Fertilizer Friday.

I wish you could send us a bit of spring here, I am now well and truly fed up with cold and rain.

So glad Buddy has a play mate, I think it is good for any animal to have a friend other than a two legged one. Take care and have a good weekend Diane

Pretty blooms!
I know about dogs and cameras - my dog is jealous of anything that takes my focus off of her! If I'm standing up, she jumps on me. If I squat down to take a close-up, she runs her head under my elbow and knocks me over. Its a wonder I get any photos at all!
I think it is good for your other dog to have a companion.
Happy gardening!

Blurry photos because of the new puppy. That's great. He's a cutie.

It sounds like your fruit trees are doing great! I hope you get a lot of fruit from them. Your flowers are all looking pretty too. Your new puppy is cute.

Becca, your pup is a doll! As time goes on they will become the best of pals! All your flowers (from your last post) and your fruit trees are awesome!
