There is so much work filling up the gardens. I have a lot of space. All of them can still handle more. I suppose most of us gardeners say that. Still there is lots to do.
Sharing some of the pretties from my gardens that we have been working on.
Bearded Iris Julius Ceasar (I think)
Dahlia's. I love how full these were. I bought only 2 of them but they make a statement.
Pink Lady Hibiscus. So glad to add this jewel to my part sun/shade garden.
Added four of these white/beige like gerbera daisy's. Do you see the weeds growing in the dianthus. Yes all of the gardens need some weeding but it so much more fun to plant flowers.
Ice plants to the rear of this picture and gerbera daisy to the right and dianthus to the left but these gorgeous full on pink dahlias are the star of the show here. Too bad the photo doesn't capture the beautiful solid pink on these dahlias
Always wanted to add gazanias and now I have. Love the happy yellow.
Ice plants. (Delosperma)
I am so in love. Never had a foxglove to bloom for me. I really need to read up on this plant. I put down seeds in early January 3 years ago. Now look. I received the seeds from Tanya from My Secret Garden. http://tanyasgarden.blogspot.com/
The yarrow is taking over the garden but I love the soft dainty flowers and the foliage. I suppose it is easy to transplant some the babies from this.
Nothing makes a gardener happier than to see repeats from the year before especially if it is sometimes considered an annual. A few of the Dahlia Figaro came back for me and I also put down some new seeds since they did so well last year.
The first day lily of the season. I would have to get my journal to know the name - sorry.
Astilbe is a happy addition to my gardens. Love the brightness this adds to the garden. Bright pink.
oops.
New hanging basket. Albuttion (spelling not sure)
Happy petunia's on the front porch.
My mom and I love gardening and she thought of me when purchasing flowers last week. She bought me this new Mandevilla.
We placed it in this bed where there are dahlia's and lots of zinnia's, coneflower and lisianthus. I moved the coneflower and lisanthus as a transplant. Hope they like their new home. I never new how much coneflowers spread and drop seeds. I have a lot of new plants from last years seeds that blew in the wind I suppose.
Well I guess that's it for now. I have to get busy here.

Those are some big happy flowers. Always room for more isn't there?
So love that head bed frame ... your florals are gorgeous. Your Iris are already blooming? I am jealous. I start digging in the dirt tomorrow ... got a lot done today that I posted on FB. Feels good to be outdoors once again.

Day Lilies already? Gonna plant some bearded irises at our New place. I have a pretty white clematis I stole from an uninhabited house. I may have to dig it up and take it with me.
Looks great!!! You have a good variety. I want to get some dinner plate dahlias....i always loved those. I love foxgloves too...and like you, never had much success, so that is awesome. I havent used the crinkle hose, but my mom has them. They work good for her, but we have almost 3 acres and i dontthink it would be good for us
Beautiful - last shot is certainly putting the flowers to bed lol
Love, love, love the blue iris and I can't believe you already have a daylily blooming!
Beautiful blooms Becca, that camera really makes a difference!

Wow, everything looks so pretty, Becca. I don't think I've ever seen gazanias before, but I love that bright yellow!
I hope you have a nice weekend!
Can you say "green with envy." I've never been an avid gardner, but liked to putter around when I was younger and healthier. Everything you show looks so nice and you have such a variety Would you consider being my gardner?
Yes, our love of gardening is something we are truly blessed to have. How cool that you had planted the Foxglove from seeds! I like that bed frame, too.
