Putting in the Seed

Slave to a springtime passion for the earth. How love burns through the putting in the seed on through the watching for that early birth when, just as the soil tarnishes with weed, the sturdy seedling with arched body comes shouldering its way and shedding the earth crumbs.

Citronelle? My daughter went to Univ of Southern Mississippi and had a friend from there. I have a sister in law in Mobile. I look forward to watching your southern garden. You're weeks and weeks ahead of me in temperature!

Love Robert Frost!
I'm not familiar with your town. I once lived in Andalusia (did I butcher the spelling?), when I was a child.
I am in Arkansas so your plantings are a little ahead. Can't wait to see your treasures.

Love the words! Your garden holds a lot of promise...it'll be wonderful to see it as it fills out.

Thank you for following my blog. I hope you have a great week!
