Bloomin' Tuesday

It's Bloomin' Tuesday over at Jean's. Ya'll stop over and see who has something blooming today. I know you'll like what you see.

I don't have much to share today. I've been busy this weekend cleaning and weeding the gardens. I pulled out a couple of things that just wasn't doing it for me.

I told ya I was going to buy some color. Didn't make it to Lowe's/Home Depot but I picked up 3 clearance plants as Wal Mart. This is a beautiful shade of Cherry Rose Geranium. They will look nice in the gardens.

Glad I found this Shasta Daisy. I'm tired of waiting on my plants to produce a flower. This one was in a gallon container so it is pretty big. I cut back the dead spots on both plants.

That's all I have today. I'll have more to share next week.

I will be trying to get around to visit you all over the next couple of days. I have been flooded with work right now and am very busy (that's a good thing).

Hope you all had a great Independance day. Mine was quiet and enjoyed some delicious grilled chicken. Have a gread day.

I love the color of that geranium. There's plenty of time left where you are for it to bloom like crazy!

Ewww Becca, I love your new Daisy. I get dibs on a few seeds LOL! It is so pretty. I seeded some Crazy daisies this summer but no blooms as yet. Maybe they will not bloom until next year though.
I love the new geranium too girl since I am a geranium fanatic. They grow from seed fairly well for me so that helps around here where so many seeds fail LOL!
Hey take those clearance plants where ever you can find them. You found some beauties.

I am a fairly recent transplant from Arkansas and look forward to your postings so I can learn what grows well in this area. We are in southeast Alabama near the Georgia border.

Cleaning and weeding always takes so much time, but the end result is worth the trouble. Diane

Love the color on your geranium! I'd like to add a few daisies too but just can't find a place for them. My poor garden is so over crowded.

Becca, I love that geranium color ... I have several.

Our plants are suffering horribly from this 3 week heat wave ... 102 today, so unusual for us ... still have all week to go thru. Dismal gardens ... usually mine are full & lush by this time of year! Oy!

Have a lovely day.

Hi Becca,
I love the Shasta Daisy. It's so different form the daisies I call Shastas.

In Michigan we have been having a heat wave -- high 90's---way too hot for us Northerners!

I love to get clearance plants. I went to Home Depot last weekend, but they still had not marked down anything that I wanted.

Nothing beats crearance plants! I got a huge fern at Lowes a couple weeks ago for 3 dollars! I like that Shasta Daisy, also. Great photo! Jean

Hi!
Beautiful blooms. Don't give up on the Daisies. I planted some last year and thought they died, but they are up and blooming this year. Have a great day!

I love the bright color of the Geranium! That Shasta reminds me of the type my Mom had in the garden at their old house.

Geraniums that colour are my favourite! I've tried other colours, and I find them to be unsatisfying lol.

Hi Becca,

Be patient with your Shasta daisies, I had few to no blooms the first year but this year they are blooming like crazy and are a great pick me up to look at. I'll try to get some posted for next week. Blessings, Patty
