It's Friday and can I say that real loud, right now. There I said it. I'm so glad the work week is over. And that means its also Fertilizer Friday. We are gathering over at Tootsie Time to share our blooms. Ya'll head on over http://www.tootsietime.com/.
Well blogger has a mind of its own today. My photos all loaded different. None are in the order I loaded. Oh well we get what we get.
The front porch garden.
The second bloom on the morning glory. Sorry the camera fogged this morning. This color is very hard to photograph. It is really a very dark purple.
Begonias are still making a statement.
Milkweed
The okra hibuscus looks like it may bloom right on into the fall. In fact most of the plants I am sharing today will last right on up to the change of seasons.
The white vincas are hard to photograph. I love these though - they have out performed any other vinca this year. Both of the other vinca plants I have are struggling.
I loaded the logo first. But...
Don't know about you but I am ready for a change in the seasons. I am planning some new bulbs and other plants that I have to narrow down for the spring. It is so fun to peruse the plant catalogs this time of year. I made me a wish list but have to trim it back to what I can actually do. I usually tend to overwhelm myself.
That's it for me today. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
Becca

With Blogger's new text editor, to say it has a mind of it's own is an understatement. I switched back to the old version due to it moving my tags around.
I always switch to the HTML editor to move my photos around. You can cut and past, positioning them exactly were you want them to go.
I didn't do begonias this year, but should have. Good luck with it all and have a great weekend.
Your begonias look great, mine are looking a little tired for some reason.
Thanks for sharing.
Sandy
Hi Becca. Girl I really like your plant stand and your begonias are still looking good. The white vinca is o pretty. Doesn't it make you wonder why some plants of the same type have one that just blooms its head off while the others do not? Strange! Oh, I have been going through the new plant catalogs too. So much fun. Like you I have to pare down from what I would like to have and what I can handle.LOL! That is why my list is always so long. Oh well.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Your begonias are marvellous! And I like the morning glory. It should be nicer in real. I know that! I realise that dark colour flowers tend to look less dark in photos. Enjoy your weekend!
Great photos Becca, looking good.
Your garden always looks fantastic and this is no change. How are you feeling now and how is the non smoking going? Diane
Becca your flowers are still looking exceptional for this time of year and I know you've had a lot hotter weather than us and for a longer period of time too. Love your front porch garden!
Your flowers look so much better than any of mine. The heat and dry weather have taken their toll. We have watered a lot, but not enough, obviously!
Hi Becca,
What lovely pictures and blooms...I noticed some volunteer Vincas over at our old home site the other day...I think once I have the garden borders put in I will try transplanting them...last yr they bloomed until after Christmas.
Thank you so much for dropping by and leaving your sweet comment.

Pretty pictures of lovely flowers. My favorites are the begonias and the okra hibiscus.
Those begonias are on the top of my list also for performing. I too am ready for a change of seasons. It is so hot today,96 degrees, that I do not even want to go out to take a picture!

You won a prize, Becca. E-mail me your mailing address, please. Congrats! Nancy
I particularly like your white vinca (I like the name periwinkle, myself). I don't think mine is as cute as your white one. I have to go run and see what's different about it!!
Sweet Becca ~ I opened my giveaway gift box & that wax burner is gorgeous. THANK YOU SO MUCH ...
Your florals are just gorgeous, just like you, sweet friend.
Hugs & appreciation ~

Beautiful begonias! Your white Vinca is lovely..sometimes it is funny how one color of flower will out bloom and perform the other colors. Have a great weekend..if Blogger is driving you nuts try Windows Live writer..unless you have a Mac...it is a free download..I like it:)
Oh how lovely! And I am so with you about being ready for a change of seasons from summer to fall. And I'm already looking forward to ideas for autumn art activities for grandparents and their grandchildren! :)
Those begonias are just amazing! I've never had any get that full and so covered in flowers. It's hard to believe it's time to start thinking about bulbs soon, so many of my late summer bloomers were no shows this year that I'm not ready for summer to end yet.
Those begonias are like the Energizer Bunny, aren't they. They just keep going and going. Very pretty. Have a good weekend,Becca. :)
Your flowers are looking real pretty :-) I have a tough time with purples and reds too. They are hard to capture sometimes.
Yes I am ready for a change...everything looks good Becca.
Your flowers still look so pretty. My garden is almost more brown than green right now. It's hard to keep enough water on it. I'm ready for fall, too. Think I'll put in a few new bulbs. Hope you have a better week. Patty
