I reached another milestone this week in blogland. I reached 200 followers. I still can't believe that people read what I write and they say they like to read my blog.
I just finished this book and enjoyed it so much. I was wondering if anyone else might want to read this one by Carolyn Haines. Carolyn is a local writer and includes local areas with much excitement. This book is about a young girl who is struck by lightning and is presumed dead in her mothers arms. Suddenly she is breathing and comes too. After a while the town folks believe that she is of the devil when she dreams of events....
This is an awesome read and I found it hard to put it down. If you would like to receive this book - just leave me a message. Let me know if you have read Carolyn's books before. Just curious. I will draw on Tuesday around noon for the winner and announce it then.
Put out some fall deco stuff this week. This is one of my arrangements.
Caught me another canna blooming. With the cooler temps we are experiencing this should be last of them this year.
My youngest brother married on Sunday the 27th and mom threw him a reception on Tuesday. Good to welcome a new member to the family.
This is mom, pop, brother - Royce, new wife Sharon and Royce's daughter Christine. Just a small get together since this was such short notice.
I had a wonderful birthday this week. I received so many Happy Birthday's this year. Made me feel so blessed to be thought of.
Hope you all have a great weekend and are experiencing some nice weather.
Have a blessed day.

I have never heard of Carolyn Haines but it sounds a very interesting book. I wouold love to read it maybe I can find some of her books on Amazon.
Glad you had a good birthday. Diane
I missed your birthday. How awful of me! I just haven't had the desired blog time. I may have to put it on hold with this new job. Hope your birthday was a happy one, though! Thanks for the good luck wish! You ever decide to take a trip to the east coast you're more than welcome at our place!!

I really like that new fall header. It is fun to decorate this time of year because you can leave the decorations up until after Thanksgiving, maybe not the witches and ghosts!

Happy Birthday, belated. No, I've never read any of Carolyn's books but it sounds interesting, so please count me in the draw.
I love your fall decorations. Lovely wreath. We don't do so much of it here in England, but it is catching on more and more with each passing year.
Nice photo of your family, all together.
Blessings, Star
Nice Fall touches Becca. Congrats on the new sister in law. Please do count me in the book draw. I do not know this author but do enjoy a good read!!
Hey, it would be cool if this book is passed to different bloggers and they wrote something in it and at an appointed time it was returned to you....I have been wanting to do something like this ever since Dirt Princess sent Bilbo around.
Happy belated birthday! I have not read any of her books before but that one sure does sound interesting!
Hi Becca. Congratulations to the newlyweds.
Your Fall arrangement looks so pretty. I love your pumpkin. The canna bloom is lovely. I am glad you had a good birthday.
Have a wonderful weekend.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTDAY! I hope you enjoyed your day? Today I posted a big pink flower, if you lived close by I would give you one, (although its not for in the garden). Have a good weekend,
Maureen
Definitely sounds like a book I would enjoy reading. And Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Hi Becca, Love your Fall decorations.. I need to do something now that it's cooler outside, and feels like Fall.
Congrats to your brother.Great picture of the family.
As good as that book looks, don't add me to your list. I don't participate in Giveaways anymore... Thanks anyhow.
Have a wonderful weekend, Becca.
Hugs,
Betsy
Becca,
What beautiful decorations!
Thank you for reading my book, TOUCHED. It's a very special book for me. I do love local legend, and since you live in Citronelle, have you ever heard the legend of Cry Baby Creek and Kali Oka Road? It's a Mobile County tale that I "borrowed" for SUMMER OF THE REDEEMERS.
I try to garden, a little. But I've discovered that gardening "a little" is not good enough! But I love seeing beautiful flowers.
Hope you have a terrific weekend.
I am always delighted to see other people decorate for the seasons. Yours are lovely. I can almost feel the crisp air!! Please put me in for your book drawing. Love to read and have not read her!
love the new fall look....
Congrats on 200 followers! Amazing! I love the fall arrangement. Looks great against the wall paper. Jean
Oh my golly, Becca, what day is your birthday? We were out of town for the week so I missed so much ... mine was last Monday. I hope yours was filled with many joys & blessings, sweet friend.
Congrats to the newlyweds
As always, Becca, I just love your garden of florals.
Have a beautiful week ~

Congrates on reaching 200+ followers...I know you must be chuffed....I have not read her work, but the book sounds very interesting, been awhile since I have found a good book to read.
Also Congrate to your brother and his new bride.
Blessings
Kelsie
Hi Becca! It's nice to have a family get together. Hard to do some times. Your flowers and fall decorations are pretty.
Please don't include me in your drawing. It looks like an interesting book, but I am so far behind in things I want to read now, that I'll never get caught up! HA! I'll let someone else have the chance to win instead.
Hope you have a great week! :)
