Visiting Turkeys

I finally had that dreaded gall bladder surgery. I got sick again on Sat night and it was horrible. On Sunday evening I had to make a trip to the ER. I was admitted and the doctors removed my gall bladder on Tue. Still a little weak and don't plan to be at work but a couple of hours. I have 13 staples in my abdomen.

Anyway glad to have it behind me. Look what I saw on Wed while lounging in my chair. Neighbor counted a dozen turkey's. I've never seen a turkey but at a good distance in the woods before so I was thrilled to see them come out to visit. I don't have a gun so I can't shoot one but I expect to eat their brother on Thanksgiving. LOL

Winter has arrived here in my area. Temps dipping into the mid 30's tonight. Brrrr!

Keeping it short today. Ya'll have a blessed and fun weekend. I'll be back to visit ya on Monday.

So glad you are doing much better. I had 3 c-sections so I can attest to the pain that you are experiencing. It makes you afraid to move!
Take care-

Oh you poor dear. Sorry to hear you had an emergency and were so ill. Well at least Becca you won't have to be bothered anymore by that old aching gallbladder.
It is unusual to see turkeys so close to the houses.
Hope they find the little child real soon.
You take care of yourself now and have a restful weekend.

I am sorry to hear that you had to have the surgery..but hopefully you will feel better now. Thirteen staples..that is quite a few. They removed mine through my belly button so I had no stiches or staples..I went home the same day. You better take it easy..and rest up:)

My car almost got us turkey dinner last night coming from our trip! They are low fliers. Just about hood or windshield height! They are pretty big and look worse if they hit you! You have been busy, girlfriend. I expect your GI issues will be much improved, but I'm sorry your mom broke a hip! Well, I hope you will be much better (I typed butter!) for the holidays! Take care.
