We all have times when finding something to blog about is void...to stoop to stealing content is just wrong on so many levels....

That is so bizarre and so wrong.

They are doing it to generate traffic so they can get money from the advertisers...Some adds pay "per-click" but others will pay just for a page view...get enough traffic the page view payments add up...This is both unethical, illegal by international copyright law and I am sure if you looked into a violation of their user agreement with blogger and adsourse...They need to be reported to blogger by those that have had posts stolen and placed on this blog...unfortunately just us viewing and looking thru to see if they have stolen anything we may have posted will generate page views for them...Though hopefully once reported and the blog canceled they will not receive payment for their illegally obtained traffic.

OMG!! What a Sleeze!
I was just there and went thru to see if anything of mine was lifted, you could be there for hours,,,, but I found that people who joined in meme's were targeted like FF / Mosaic Monday/ Skywatch. Also people who have Garden blogs. There are a few people who had Many! of their posts lifted.
If you don't mind ,I would like to bring attention to this on my blog, maybe if enough people start posting about this Disgraceful person and they know they are on to them and with the threat of copyrights and ect.... who knows....Thanks for the Heads Up ~
Have a Wonderful weekend ~

Hi Becca,

One of the blogs is Catherine's down at the bottom of the list on raised beds. Maybe you can send her this link so she can report it. Thanks for the alert.

If you find one of your posts on this blog...Click on the "Ads by Google" link it is located under their banner picture and above the block of ads.
This will take you to a form where you can report them for copyright infringement.

I did email Google but did not find anything of mine (yet) on the site, but did see lots of posts I did recognize because I commented on them to the original persons blogs..

If you are going to post about this thief let ppl know how to go about reporting them, the more reports the more likely google will shut this person down.

How do I find out if I have had my blog stolen? I have had some really strange results when I type in my blog name to the google search engine and I wondered about this but had NO IDEA that this actually happens! Let us know how to find out and if there is anything we can do?

STRANGE and very upsetting.
Thanks for alerting us!

Can Blog admin shut down these kind of sites? This is quite ridiculous.

If your own post is stolen, you can click on Report Abuse above the post and tell Blogger about it. You must be the owner of the post in question to report it. I hope in the reporting process there is room to say, '...and I noticed hundreds of other posts that I recognize as the work of others.'

I noticed quite a few posts stolen from Carol at May Dreams Gardens. In any given month, there are several Garden Bloggers Bloom Day posts. Thousands of stolen posts are on this site. In order to find any of your own posts, scan each month's titles or search the topics.

What a scam. I checked it out and I expect they are making a tidy living from the all the advertising they have on the blog. Did you notice that they conveniently have the links at the top.

I had that happen to me.. It was not a garden post --but some foreign one... I reported it to Blogger --and also wrote the person who was stealing my blog. I also got a copyright sticker on my sidebar... It stopped ---but who knows who else may be stealing it... I'm sure we probably don't want to know...

SCARY...
Hugs,
Betsy

What a rip off, I hope that someone reports them and they get struck off for it. That is really cheeky and as you say it is theft. Diane

I noticed this site did not give any information on the "person" who supposedly is running the site nor any contact information.
