Tuesday Garden Parties

Today is Bloomin Tuesday at Ms Green Thumb Jean's and its a Tuesday Garden Party at An Oregon Cottage and it's Garden Tuesday at Sidewalk Shoes. The links are at the bottom of my post.

I hope all you mothers had a great Mothers Day on Sunday. I sure did.

The weather has been beautiful.

I love the breadseed poppies. They brighten up a garden.

Happy dianthus.

Begonias will be huge this year.

My plants have recently been deadheaded and trimmed. Love this daisy.

Penta.

Shasta daisy from seed.

Look what I found when I got home Sunday. It is huge and blue/purple. This looks like the package - Full Tide Iris.

Wishing for some rain. This is a teaser. No rain in those clouds. We are needing some rain so bad.

Don't laugh ya'll at my 'mater. It is a cherry tomato so it is suppose to be small. I popped in my mouth as soon as the photo was taken. This is the first ripe one and the first one taste the best. It was so good and can't wait to have more. The little bush is loaded with tomatos.

Ya'll head on over now and check out these blogs and see who else is partying today.

Beautiful blue Iris! The first mater always is the best, and sun-warmed from the garden makes it even sweeter. :)

Hi Becca,
I'm glad you had a nice Mother's Day. You have some beautiful blooms! I had a little chuckle when I read that you'd been deadheading. I am waiting for my first blooms on plants that I deadhead on. I haven't even planted my tomatoes yet, but it's time to. That iris must be a late bloomer. It sure is a beauty!

Do you have palm trees in your area? I just saw on the news that there is a palm weevil that is killing them palm trees, but I didn't catch where. I think it was in Florida. They sound nasty.

Didn't realize you needed rain, too (we do too). Love your irises! I planted some Blue Tides this year, but they didn't come up. I can't believe you already have tomatoes! Enjoy!
