Happy Monday

Good Monday morning blogging buddies. I've been MIA but not really. Nothing going on in my li'l ole world. We are having some awesome weather with temps ranging from the low 60's to the mid and upper 90's. For us down here on the coast it feels like a nice cool down. Actually felt kinda fall-ish last week. I am ready for a change in the seasons. I always feel this way as one season begins to change. Leaves are beginning to fall here.

I started the weekend off on Friday by working a little in the yard and gardens. I ended up spending Sat and Sun working outdoors. The weather was so nice lending itself to cool mornings and warm afternoon. Loved it. I'm getting ready enlarge the shade garden I put in earlier this year. Can I dare say that I showed my butt last week with the shade garden and that is why I am working on it. Someone swept my rooftop off and swept the trash all over this garden. I was so mad that I went out and tore the garden up letting my frustations out. When I was done and looked at what I had done I felt guilty and sad for pulling my plants out. Oh well it's just a garden but I intend to make it bigger and better. Just wondering have you ever done such a thing or pitch a fit over something... sometime I just lose control for a moment.

Did anyone spend anytime watching the many number of specials this weekend honoring the victims of 9-11. I watched a lot of the programs and many featured video's made by everyday people who were living the disaster/event. It's hard to look back and see where we were as a counry then and then flash forward to today. A lot has changed. I personally haven't been affected. Are we safer today than we were on that day in 2001? I wonder. I really don't think we are so much safer from terrorists. I think if they really want to harm us they can. I watched the programs and cried like everyone else as we recalled that sad day for our country.

Hope you are all having a nice Monday.

Becca you sound a little stressed out. Relax, unwind, so you pulled your plants out, just think how good it is going to look when you replant it :-) Take care Diane

Oh Becca ~ Venting can be good sometimes, other times we wish we hadn't blown our stacks.

Glad you are enjoying cooler weather. It's still really miserable down here, although the air was a little cooler after some rain this afternoon.

Have a good week and enjoy enlarging your shade garden as time and weather permit.

It is nice to see you back! So you tore your garden up? Bet it looks better now...

Oh yes ! I think we've all had those moments at some time or another. Your garden will survive and probably look better in the long run...in the meantime just relax and enjoy your cooler weather. We are enjoying fall like weather here too :) I'm going to miss summer though.... didn't really get to enjoy it much this year due to the extreme heat we had.

I've been working out in the garden, too, with the cooler temperatures finally arriving. And yes, I throw fits quite often, and often regret it later. Making it bigger and better is a good excuse to have pulled everything out.

Happy Monday to you, Becca. I think we all need to just let things out once in a while to get rid of those feelings of anger or frustration that we are faced with. I hope you feel better. In time your garden will be even bigger and better, so all is good. Hugs to you.

I have subscribed to your rss feed which should do the trick. These all are great to know about it. These all things are great to know about it.

Some really severe shade gardening. LOL! I use to throw things when I got frustrated until I decided I was just hurting myself. LOL!
Venting is good sometimes but hey girl don't hurt yourself. LOL!

Referring to your post on 9/11, we watched it all. I've blogged about it. It was very emotional and the tears did flow.

I'm trying to remember if I've vented through gardening or not. I know I sometimes react to things more than I wished I had.

I watched a lot of the 9/11 coverage, and recorded some as well, that I haven't gotten back to. I had lots of tears flowing, too. There were things I didn't know about, like all those boats that helped get people out of Manhattan. Did you see that part? It was amazing.
