A Few Blooms Hanging Out

A few blooms are hanging around and many more are on the way.

Verbena

Begonia

Mandevilla

Salvia

Pansy

Penta

I wish there was smellavision 'cause this smells heavenly. There are little tangerine's all over the plant.

I can't believe the fruit on the little plum tree. The tree was naked when it was planted about 6 weeks ago and it is growing so well.

Can you see the blueberries. Loaded.

I am puzzled by the peach tree. The little peaches are dying before they even get a good start.

Look at them on the ground. The tree has been fertilized and new soil added. The tree is healthier than it's ever been. Maybe some will 'hang out' and ripen.

I live on roly poly avenue and all the roly poly's live at my house. I've never seen so many in one place like I have. They are harmless as far as I know but I think they are munching on plants. From what I've read my place is just right for them to breed in damp places and under things. So I guess I'll just live with them.

When I was a little girl we would gather up as many as we could find and put them all in a jar and watch them crawl around. Loved watching them roll into a ball and we'd scoot them across the room. Fun times.

Hope you all have a great weekend and a blessed Easter.

It is great to see so much blooming. I am anxious to plant some annuals but it is still too cold here, maybe frost tonight!

Nice selection today. I too remember playing with roly polys. Did you realize that verbena, begonia, and pentas root fairly easily? It's early enough in the season to give it a go and still be able to plant them for more plants and color this season.....

Lovely to see your fresh flowers! Ours are starting to decline in the heat that's already reaching the 90's. Very little rain for us this time of year, so I'm watering when and where I can to prevent wilting. Beautiful pictures! Wish I had some idea about your peaches, such a shame to lose those young ones.

The verbena color is awesome. Rolly pollies will munch on plants. I get most annoyed when they chew on the undersides of squash and stuff.

What beautiful flowers Becca! Peach trees can be so touchy. If it doesn't do good this season, I'm betting next season it will rebound nicely. If you disturbed it at all, it may just be dealing with the after effects. Don't give up on it!
Hope your Mom is feeling better!

What are roly poly's? I can't quite make them out in my photo. Do they eat the plants?

And how can you have all that stuff blooming this time of the year, wow...

We had snow just last week.

Good luck with your blueberries! Mine are just blooming in the uk. And this year my brigitta got a mate so hopefully I will have fruit! I remember when growing up when my only experience with blueberries was blue food flooring in a muffin...my have things changed! And my hubby thinks its silly as they are all over the forest in Sweden free...like blackberries in some parts so it's a simple pleasure! Enjoy!
